My god you two are hilarious. . . Why go to the movies when I can just read Caps reviews and comments page.
I'm shocked to find I wasn't the ONLY person in the theater watching this. Maybe I was laughing so hard I didn't see you guys. I swore it was just me and my nachos - - - -

This is one of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a long time, though I don't agree that it's similar to "How to Lose a Guy." they both have writers but other than that...?
I was talking with some friends recently about how clever the dialogue in older movies is, what with all the wordplay and double meanings (take "Philadelphia Story" for example, the one with Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, etc.) and how there aren't many modern movies that have that. "Down With Love" does! I loved it! :)
Good review!

Hey there!
"This is one of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a long time, though I don't agree that it's similar to "How to Lose a Guy." they both have writers but other than that...?" - I meant the premise - guy wants to get girl for bet / job / etc, girl wants to dump guy for same reason, etc... well, I thought they were similar, anyway!!
I must get round to seeing "Pillow Talk" soon to see how this modern version compares...
