King of Queens was a show I didn't get into until it had been on for four years. Jerry Stiller is a comedic mastermind and was the main reason I started watching it. However, Kevin James is also incredibly funny.
This DVD set includes 25 episodes, some commentary, and some behind the scenes material.
The episodes only last 21-25 minutes at most so it won't take long to watch all the episodes. I usually find that I have watched all of them withing 3 days to a week. This is the type of show where you don't have to watch it from the beginning to get the most out of it, but there are running jokes that continue through the entire series.
The main premise is that of a parcel delivery man who lives with his lawyer secretary wife in Queens. The wife's father lives in their basement because he is a hazard to himself. Some of the side characters have become just as much favorites as the main characters. Spencer, played by Patton Oswald is very funny.
This show has become my favorite show to watch on DVD. I have seen 4 of the 7 seasons released over 4 times. They are fun to watch with friends and family, or just by yourself when you are doing chores around the house.
