Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.
My sister turned me onto this DVD about 2 years ago. Got it at Target for $10. This DVD is great. I got it for my daughter right before she started pre-school. It has helped her so much with her letters and sounds. The catchy tune helps too. Its a lot more entertaining because it has a story line behind it. Leap and Lilly and their little brother, Tad, head off to their dad's Letter Factory. As they are planning a special presentation for his boss, Tad starts roaming around the halls and meets up with Professor Quigley. In this movie each letter has its own room. Kind of like a dressing room. Each room they went into had a different letter. Each letter would make the sound they make, A says ahh, etc. Along with the sound they make their is an action to go along with that sound. Such as the C said "cuh" then all the C's would have icicles on them and they would be Cold.
The R's would be racing around a race track saying "rrrrrrr" like a car. The F's fly, the H's are hot and panting, the Js are jumping, the Ks are kicking, the Ls are licking lolly pops, the Ms are saying "mmmmm" for the food they are eating, the Ns say Nooooo, the P's are popping popcorn, the S's are snakes, the T's are tap dancing, the V's are vibrating. I do have to say that the W has the best little song ever. "Wa wa wa wa wa whats going on with you?" (try to picture that as a rap-like song) All the way to the letter Z. They are all sleeping. Tad takes a little nap with them. In each room Professor Quigley and Tad sing, "The A says...." "The B says..." and so on.
At the very end it's Tad, Lilly, and Leap all get together with all the letters and put on the presentation for the big boss. Each letter says its sound and does its appropriate action.
My daughter enjoys each Leap Frog item she has gotten. They are highly educational and fun at the same time. I cant even tell you how many times she has come up singing "The c says cuh...the c says cuh....every letter makes a sound...the c says CUH!"
