Plot Details: This opinion reveals everything about the movie''s plot.
Not long after the release of Threes Company Season One I saw at the Threes Company website that Season Two would be released on DVD in May 2004. I was so excited and couldnt wait for it to come out. When my husband asked me what I wanted for Mothers Day I immediately told him that I wanted the Threes Company Season Two DVD. I am a huge John Ritter fan and have been collecting things that he has been in. I love watching the old Threes Company shows and have had such a fun time seeing all of these episodes.
There are 25 episodes included on 4 DVDs. I got this last Saturday and watched all weekend as well as every night this week. Im addicted!
Here is what you get for your $25:
DISC 1:
Ground Rules - Jack, Janet and Chrissy decide to come up with some rules for having their own time with dates at the apartment.
Jack Looks for a Job - Jack needs to find a job especially since Janet and Chrissy are both working. He gets a job as a model, but then finds out they want him to do a nude centerfold. Does he take the job?
Janets Promotion - The manager of the flower shop that Janet works at quits. Janet wants the job, but it is given to a girl who is sexier. How does Janet fight back?
Strange Bedfellows - Janet and Chrissy are away for the weekend. Jack has a big party. Mr. Roper comes up to fuss about the party and ends up staying for a drink. What does everyone think when they find out that Mr. Roper has been in bed with Jack?
Chrissys Date - Chrissy has a new boyfriend, but doesnt know he is married. How does Jack break the news to her?
Alone Together - Janet stays the night with Mrs. Roper when Mr. Roper is out of town. Chrissy is left alone with Jack. When he doesnt make a pass at her she thinks that she has lost her sex appeal.
DISC 2:
Ropers Car - Jack talks Chrissy and Janet into putting their money together to buy Mr. Ropers car, which turns out to be a dude. Do they get their money back?
Cyrano De Tripper - Chrissy wants Jack to cook a fancy dinner for her new boyfriend. Does he find out the truth behind the meal?
Chrissys Night Out - Chrissy is mistaken for a prostitute. When the officer comes to the house Jack doesnt know who he is and knocks him out. How do they get out of that?
Stanley Casanova - Mr. Roper thinks he is no longer a turn on and is bummed out. Jack talks a pretty woman into flirting with Mr. Roper to cheer him up. What does Mrs. Roper catch them doing?
Janets High School Sweetheart - Janet runs into a guy she liked in high school. He turns out to be a real jerk and tries to sleep with her. How did Chrissy know he was bad news to start with?
Jacks Uncle - Uncle Fremont comes to town and writes a bad check to cover Jacks part of the rent. Is Jack able to get the check back before Mr. Roper goes to the bank?
Helens Job - Mr. Roper doesnt give Helen enough money so she decides to get a job. She hates the job, but cant tell Mr. Roper the truth. How does Jack get Mr. Roper to make Mrs. Roper quit her job?
DISC 3:
Threes Christmas - Jack, Janet and Chrissy arent invited to a big Christmas Eve party. The Ropers invite them over for a boring night. What does the trio do when the invitation comes at the last minute to the fun party?
The Gift - Jack picks up a $300 coat for Mr. Roper to give to Mrs. Roper. Chrissy mistakes it for her birthday gift. How does Jack straighten it all out?
The Rivals - Janet wants Chrissy and Jack to help her entertain an old and boring customer. He turns out to be young and good-looking, but falls for Chrissy instead. How does Janet react?
The Babysitters - Jack and Chrissy fill in for Janet on a babysitting job that turns out to be a nightmare. What do Jack and Chrissy have to go through that made the job so bad?
Home Movies - Chrissy gets into making home movies to impress her new boyfriend.
Jack in the Flower Shop - Jack goes to work part time for Janet at the flower shop. He finds her a hard boss to work for and brings his frustrations home with him.
Jacks Naval Pal - Jack, Janet and Chrissy want to butter up Mr. Roper so he wont raise the rent. A Navy acquaintance shows up unexpectedly and ruins the evening.
DISC 4:
Will the Real Jack Tripper - An ex-girlfriend comes to the apartment and tells Janet and Chrissy that she is pregnant with Jacks baby. They tell Jack and he proposes to his current girlfriend, who is not the same girl.
Days of Beer and Weeds - Jack, Janet and Chrissy clean up the overgrown yard. They find some weeds that look unique and give them to Mrs. Roper. She takes them to her flower arranging class. What do Jack Chrissy and Janet do when they find out they gave Mrs. Roper marijuana?
Chrissy Come Home - Chrissys father, who is a minister, shows up unexpectedly. Janet panics and tells him that she is married to Jack. When Chrissys dad learns that the marriage was at City Hall he insists on marrying them right then and there.
Bird Song - Mr. Roper buys Mrs. Roper a parakeet for an anniversary present. Janet has tickets to a Frank Sinatra concert. Jack and Chrissy compete to get the tickets.
Coffee, Tea or Jack - An old girlfriend comes to visit Jack and wants to get him back. Chrissy must lure him back to the Ropers for his surprise birthday party. (The old girlfriend was played by Loni Anderson.)

Pilot Episode - It shows the first of two episodes that was taped March 1976, but it was never aired. It featured Suzanne Zenor and Valerie Curtin as the roommates, but they were replaced by Joyce DeWitt and Suzanne Somers in the real show. 25 Minutes
John Ritter: Always Leave Them Laughing - Joyce DeWitt talks about working with John Ritter. She said he was very much like his character as Jack Tripper in real life. This is a walk down memory lane telling about Johns life. The other roles he did besides Jack Tripper was discussed as well as many assorted pictures shown. There is a clip from 1984 when he won a Golden Globe award. 10 Minutes
Blooper Reel - The cast is introduced and then there is various clips when they made mistakes while they were taping. This was really funny. 12 Minutes
Commentary for Days of Beer and Weeds - This is done by Chris Mann, who was the author of Come and Knock on Our Door. He explains that in the opening credits of Threes Company there is a brown-headed girl that walks by Jack as he is riding a bike and falls over into the sand. That girl is Suzanne Somers with a wig on. There are assorted clips from Season One. Chris talks about the last time he ever saw John Ritter on the set of 8 Simple Rules. 22 Minutes

Final Thoughts:
If you are a Threes Company fan you must get this Season Two DVD. The extras are wonderful. I really enjoyed watching all of the episodes and the extra stuff. This is something that I will watch over and over when there is nothing good on television to watch. I think it was well worth the money spent on it and I hope they will release the other seasons of Threes Company out on DVD.
