tchoate's Full Review: Waltons - The Complete First Season
Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie''s plot.
I remember watching The Waltons with my family as a child and I remember watching the reruns as an adult with my children. I have to say that I was very excited to see the series begin to be released by season in box sets. The Waltons - The Complete First Season is the beginning of this wonderful series created by Earl Hamner. This first box set gives you the chance to be introduced to this beloved family that was an institution on television during the 1970s.
The Waltons - The Complete First Season

Included in this set are:

The Bicycle - Local blacksmith Curtis Norton has had John-Boy write letters to his bride-to-be. When she arrives on Walton's Mountain, life and Curtis are much different than she expected. Meanwhile, Olivia is feeling new pangs for freedom and something "different" in her life.
The Townie - John Boys friend sees him as an escape from her demanding mother.
