The Bottom Line: Suspense: 6-Not only should you not watch this movie alone, you shouldn't watch it at all. This movie isn't suitable for anyone. Only your worst enemy deserves this.
Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.
I'd like to quote Furie: "Soul Plane takes that premise and makes it a movie. It's funny because they're black. If that seems to be a bit of a racist judgment, blame the movie. It's full of every stereotype about African-Americans that you can conceive of." He makes a compelling argument. I'm black, but I was not offended by this "movie" (or lack thereof). Let me say that the cast could've been plaid and this "movie" wouldn't have been funny. Now that that's out of the way.....
......Soul Plane is a clear example of the ill effects of a failure to communicate. Somehow, someone decided that this would be a good idea. I could not sit through this movie for the entire length because my television got offended. But the little I did see was enough to cement my decision:THIS MOVIE SUCKS! Junkie- prostitutes are livid with envy because this movie sucks harder than THEY do!
All the "stars" are in here. Snoop, Method Man, Monique (from The Parkers) and some dude that got the girls attention (that guy in the scene with Monique at the metal detector).

This "movie" is not quite the knee-slapper it was projected to be. Instead, it's more of a face-slapper. You will slap your own face for sitting and watching this.
Watch this and you'll have the Botox effect. Your face will get stuck and you won't crack a smile.
