What's up, mate! Juice, It's plainly obvious I didn't study medieval history in college, ay? Nor, apparantly film criticism either, but what I did want to convey is that "King Arthur" is so busy characterizing Bors as some knight with a taste for procreation and Lancelot as a dissenting rogue with a knack for being attracted to other knights' maidens, the icy relationship between the picts and Arthur's politics is not touched upon too much. All we get is Arthur saving Guinevere's life, and her repaying him by whining about his allegiance to Spain rather than her heavenly, tight body. I appreciate the comment though, next time I shall consult an almanac--or better, Jerry Bruckheimer himself--before I digress into historic errors. Which clearly "King Arthur" is not guilty of. Always fondly,

...native Picts who want a free England...

Umm... I'm not sure the Picts would have cared so much about a free England, given that they mainly resided in Scotland (though the evidence is scanty as yet). Apparently just another hollywood bolloxing of history to suit the blockbuster of the moment.

Excellent review, incidentally.

Cheers,

Simon
