I can't agrue with anything you said here-it looks like we're both on the same page. BTW, nice touch adding in the story about the nutty girl and her dog. Those kind of people make it easier to suffer through a bad movie. Keep up the great work.

I hate to burst your pride bubble, Skippy, but some commercials have more impact (on me) than the film "Saw" did. I can't believe you rate good films so low and POS films so high. You're either very young, very foreign, very naive or all of the above. After all, you loved "Unbreakable?" - another cinematic abortion. So your idea of what a good film is...is something either induced by drugs or lack of life experience.

And what type of film do you not so simple minded people enjoy?

I bet you can't wait. Simple-minded folks loved that film. Enjoy it. Oh, did ya notice that more and more people are saying what a POS "Saw" was? It's down in the ratings on Epinions and everywhere else.

Sequel in the works (Reply to this comment)

I was delighted to hear that as a result of Saw's box office sucess, a sequel is already in the works. Saw cost roughly 2 million to make. It's world wide gross is over 100 million. I can't wait.

Truth be told, my first reaction was a bit harsh, so I deleted it and considered your point of view. I felt you were right and I edited it. Thanks for your input and even more thanks for the kind words directed at my writing talents... too bad Epinions revoked my "Top Reviewer" status. I'd probably be writing many more reviews.

Well, I didn't fully read the review since you pretty much told me what happens at the end anyway.
I don't disagree with spoilers in the body of a review, especially if you are warning the readers at the beginning. However, I was scanning the pros and cons of each review to get a feel for some of the things people were listing, and I was disappointed when I read your's.
You are a good writer, and I like other reviews you have written. I don't want you to think I'm trying to be mean or overly critical.

Actually, i agree with your views about the "CONS" thing, so I edited my cons just for you. Happy? In the body of the review, I did post a warning and that if you still wish to see the film to stop reading now...remember?
As for my reasons about slamming the bad guy getting away... it drips of sequel and this cinematic abortion doesn't need to answer any more questions about characters we don't care about. Are you waiting for the next Chainsaw Massacre film too? Did you pre-pay for your tickets to see "Chucky 4: Seed of Chucky?"

Your cons gave away the ending !!! (Reply to this comment)

I have to take issue with your inclusion of "the bad guy gets away" in your cons section.
As you know, this section is viewable in the review summaries, and a warning as to whether there is a spoiler is not available.
It's one thing to add a spoiler in the text of your review, but there you can at least warn readers beforehand.
Was this an oversight on your part, or did you do this with the intent of ruining the film for others because you did not like it?
