I just saw Elf last night for the first time. Very funny. Will have to get the DVD now. :)
I liked both movies. They are both good Christmas movies, but good in different ways..if that makes sense. ;)

the book, but for some reason haven't gotten around to reading it. Now we're consciously avoiding it, since we want to take the kids to see the movie. I'm glad it's good! Last year we saw "Elf" and I was afraid it was going to be hard to top that.

I had forgotten that Hero Boy did talk some as an adult as the narator. I just knew that as the child, that wasn't Hanks doing the voice.

Hanks voiced Hero Boy as the adult narrator. Sabara, who was one of the kids of the "Spy Kids" series, is Hero Boy as a boy. I hope this helps, and glad you enjoyed the film a little more than I did. Thanks for sharing!
