Pros:Blade's martial art fight scenes in the end of the movie; Music.
Cons:Felt too much a like a music video at times. Product placement.
The Bottom Line: Don't go into this movie expecting Blade 1 or 2. This movie can wait for DVD rental. Product placement really distracts from the film.
Blade Trinity as it's name implies is the third movie. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Previews of the movie would make you think that it would have been a wild ride, but after seeing the movie I think it may have spelled out doom for any more adventures . In short:

The casting for the film was terrible. Blade's new side kicks were just too cheesy in looks and acting when you compare them to the characters/cast of the first movie. It may have just been bad screen writing/story or just all of the above. I kept holding my breath during the film hoping that it would get better. Maybe they should employ Ann Rice to write a story befitting of Blade.
The overall atmosphere of the film just didn't live up to the first movie. The whole atmosphere and cinematography was off...completely. Too bright for us daywalkers. It just didn't have that original Blade dark movie feel. It was too cheery.
Blade's fight scenes were a lot better than the second movie in that they relied less on matrix action camera trickery for just plain hard core street fighting style and quick camera cut scenes. It was more in par with the first movie's fight sequences. Some scenes involving the side kicks seemed just a little too choreographed and rehearsed. "Okay you throw a punch...and I'll....step back this way....and then you say "Bleep Bleep"...
There was just way too much product placement in this movie. It was just blatant and almost obnoxious. Blade's vehicle gets trashed in the beginning of the movie. His new posse picks him up in a shiny Black GMC Envoy. Uhh, Is that a super hero's vehicle or something for yuppy suburbanites on a family outing to the mall? It's not the tough vehicle of a half vampire or a crew of vampire hunters. If they must place products in a movie to cut cost...please do it intelligently. When the camera pauses on a vehicle (like the BMW Z3 in the movie Armageddon)it really distracts from the film. People will see your products in passing without the freeze frames. Oh...there was a lot of Nokia and Apple advertisements in the film too.
Music in the movie was good. Not great. I think the first film's club scene set a standard for action/music that could not be touched again. Remember the cheers of the audience when the fighting ensued in the first film? If there were no cheers of excitement then you may have been in the company of the dead.
The story: The first Blade movie was the best; second movie..second best; and the third comes in last. There was a lot of potential in this film. They had the sets but character development was nil. The movies plot would have been better if executed in the right way. The father of all vampires looked too much like a magazine model and was just unconvincing. Bad cast...bad story...bad screen play or all of the above?
I was really hoping for an over the top movie like the first. My expectations were not high going in and felt embarrassed for the actors going out. This movie should be a rental only.
