All of the plot points didn't bother me. I just would have liked more resolution to some of them. I did still enjoy the movie and think it is worth seeing though..

Thanks for the comment. :)

a lot of interconnecting plots in a movie, but a lack of resolution can drive me nuts. Not that every film has to wrap each plot point up completely, but it sounds like there is a lot left undone here. Peh.

Even so, I'll probably end up seeing it anyway. Sigh....;)

There was more going on than I expected from seeing the trailer too. Seems like it was promoted as more of a comedy than I think it really was. There were funny moments, but I thought it was more serious overall.

Deborah definately had problems. And the therapy she'd had didn't seem to help either. If I remember right, one time when she was blaming her mother for everything wrong in her life, it was because of something her therapist had told her. She was probably the most flawed character I've seen in a movie in a long time.

It was easy to keep track of what was going on. Everything was inter connected. It just seemed like too many things weren't resolved.
I hope you enjoy the movie if you decide to see it.
Thanks for the comment. :)

I rented this movie recently and was surprised by how much was actually going on in the movie. You definitely don't get that idea when watching the trailer. The Deborah character just really blew my mind...she was one weird chick.

Overall, I think it was a good movie that provided a few laughs, but more emotional than anything else.

Good review Marie.

After reading your review this morning, I'm beginning to lean toward watching this movie, however I am concerned if I'll be able to follow it.
