Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie's plot.
Let me get this over with: Fat Albert is officially the worst movie I have ever seen. Keeping in the tradition of terrible movie versions of classic TV shows, Fat Albert doesn't disappoint. This movie has the most unrealistic characters ever created. Take Doris ( the main character ) for example, she is a teenage girl who not only has no friends but also doesn't want to have any friends, and instead goes home and watches Fat Albert on TV Land. I really don't think there is anybody in the world that can relate to her. When Fat Albert finds out she is upset, he and the gang magically jump out of the TV to solve her problems. I don't really think this will be a huge deal so I'm going to reveal the movie's shocking plot twist: the cartoon characters begin to fade away (more on that in a second) after staying in the real world too long. This "fading away" is the most pathetic special effect I have ever seen. Instead of the characters becoming transparent their clothes (literally) become faded. It looks like someone took bleach and threw it on their shirts. This is pathetic, I seem to remember a movie called Back to the Future that came out 20 years ago where at one point you could see through Marty's hand. This movie is so incredibly bad that it is painful to watch and is not hillariously bad like most bad movies are. Bottom Line: Avoid this Movie at all costs.
