Never heard of that one... the similar but less well known films do tend to be the better ones!!
Thanks for the comment,

I liked it better when it was "The Tao of Steve" (Reply to this comment)

I saw Hitch about a month ago, then last night saw "The Tao of Steve". Basically, it's the same story, but Steve is much better and much more believeable.

Hi Andre!
Thanks for the nice comment, though I still think you should write your review anyway! :-D

Good points.... (Reply to this comment)

I need to write my own review first, before reading reviews like yours. Now I don't feel the need to write one. Your points were perfect. My wife dragged me to this. I knew it would be according to "formula", and it is so sadly true of so many otherwise family friendly films with F.F. stars like Smith that they have to throw in some expletives to make theater goers feel they're are getting your money's worth.

Thanks Sue! And I know this time that us agreeing wasn't due to your spooky mind-control powers! :-D

I agree (Reply to this comment)

with your major points wholeheartedly! I didn't like the Eva Mendes character, despite the fact that she's sooooo pretty - I just didn't care much if they ever worked things out. But I did love the romance between the Kevin James and Amber Valetta characters - it was so sweet and awkward and funny.
Okay film, but definitely not memorable.
Fine review, captain,
Sue

Post Scriptum (Reply to this comment)

Because of the "factoids" at the end, you might want to say somewhere that Allegra Cole is played by Amber Valletta, for those who don't know...
Take care!

King of Queens (Reply to this comment)

Kevin James is in a sit-com called King of Queens which I love...
I agree, he steals the show in this movie and definitely gives it something extra...
Enjoyed reading this!
