FilboidStudge's Full Review: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Plot Details: This opinion reveals no details about the movie''s plot.
Here are the top 5 most entertaining things I saw when I went to the cinema to watch "Revenge Of The Sith":
1) A piece of popcorn fell out of the box I'd bought. It hit my knee on its way down and a shard broke off and landed on top of a discarded ice cream wrapper;
2) A lady coughed two rows down in an amusing manner;
3) I noticed a small piece of material the shape of Cyprus was missing from the back of the seat in front of mine;
4) I realised I'd left my mobile phone on and hurriedly switched it off;
5) A kid down the front had some kind of fit and had to be escorted out of the screening.
As for the film itself, well, come on, you know the score. I was accompanying two nippers who were nonplussed and increasingly bored and restless. Personally I was praying for death as generally I find the plastic toys I had to fork out for afterwards were better at acting than anything we'd seen on the screen. And if people are going to use special effects, can they not use them with moderation and responsibility?
In conclusion, typically American: heavy-handed, lowest common denominator cack totally lacking in character development, sincerity and quality. Hopefully if George Lucas gets an inkling to waste another opportunity to make a half-decent film someone will accost him and stick the whole thing up his milky way.
