Tim Burton's movies are magical and creepy. I don't think I have ever seen a movie that Tim Burton has made that has disappointed me. Burton's choice to cast Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka was absolutely perfect. I love Johnny Depp. Besides being hot he always manages to get his quirky humor in any character he plays. He did an amazing job playing Willy Wonka. The supporting cast was good too. Although I did not care to see close up shots of the Charlie's grandfather (I saw this movie in the Imax theatre).

There was a lot of colour and the movie kept rolling with interest. There were a number of funny parts but the rest of the adults in the audience didn't laugh at Johnny Depp's humor. No humor people!!

This is a great film to take your kids too. The small ones may be afraid. But I'm 38 and I loved it.
