I find it fun to discover the challenges as you watch each episode. As a result, I would consider including the challenges spoilers and would be upset if a reviewer mentioned them.
Different strokes and all that, I guess. :)

Actually, I was looking for a little bit more about the locations and challenges on the show. I haven't seen it so would like to know more about what kinds of things the couples have to do to get through each round.
As for the DVD set up, extras, etc., I think it's a debatable point. If you rent the DVDs you don't always get all the same extras as if you buy them, you might get different extras if you buy multi-season combo sets or special packages - there are all sorts of things that make that information a nice addition, but not, at least to me, a must in any review. I think the only exception would be a specific "Special Anniversary Edition" or something of a film already in the database.
Just my two (three, four, twelve? I can never be brief it seems....;) cents....

Well . . .at least you did not call me an idiot..!! (Not that I expected it...)
Perhaps this is a topic worthy of discussion on the message boards..? If you get a chance, you might bring it up. Not this specific review, of course, but these TV compilations in general. If I do not see a thread I will start one later today, this evening. (After all, I really should try to do _some_ work today..!!)

I'm one of those who differ. If this were a movie, I don't think you'd have any problem with me just talking about the movie, right?
I do appreciate your comments, and I'll certainly think about them more. Just my initial thoughts.

Uhmm . . .you have written an excellent summary of the show, the characters, a bit of the storyline within the run of individual episodes.
But the listing is perhaps intended as an evaluation of the DVD product and how it delivers the show episodes and the 'extras' that might be included on the DVD(s).
Anyway . . .just my reaction. Perhaps others will differ.
