AmyFCM's Full Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Well, I will admit trying to put a 700+ page book into a movie is not an easy task. Especially J.K.Rowligns books, so full of intricate interesting detail. And while the young actors did an admiral job, and were fun to watch in their interactions, and while some of the special effects were excellent, the overall feeling at the end was of disappointment.
My son and I are strong Harry Potter fans and both felt the same way.
The movie is choppy, and does not live up to the previous in its understanding the characters.
So much was glossed over. They spend way too much time on the ball when they could have explained more about the relationship with Tom Riddle and Harry and Voldemorte. And in the end, they totally glossed over the fact that most people did not believe HArry, and Fudge denies his claims of Voldemorte's return... the whole basis for the next book!

By the way, did any one else notice the bad editing, after the ball, when Hermione yells at Harry and Ron and asks Harry where he was? THey never had Harry be anywhere else, or HErmione look for him (in the book he did go off into the woods I believe)
