.....sure if I wanted to see this one, but after your glowing review I definitely do!
It sounds like the message is a good one and it is so hard to tell that it is Emma Thompson under all that make up. She is pretty amazing.
Thanks for the great review and leading me to another movie to go and see.....Make it a great day........kath

A resume (Reply to this comment)

consisting of only one film might be considered unimpressive - unless, of course, that one film is as good as "Waking Ned"! Sounds like another winner - I'm really looking forward to seeing this one.

Emma , Emma, Emma! (Reply to this comment)

Wildly enthusiastic about her skill as a screenwriter since "Sense and Sensibility" - I'm crazy about her films.
I was going to skip this Mike, as a children's film and me having seen 6 kazillion of them as the kids were growing. Now grown and gone, I get to go to adult fare!
But you brought it home for me with this fine review; can't wait to see it!

I'm always looking for good, family appropriate, movies to bring the little guy to see. This sounds like a real winner!

Outstanding Message (Reply to this comment)

This is a must see for me. Too often kids are portrayed as being "cute" by being rude and thoughtless and unkind. It's good to see a movie that portrays children being handled as they all really should be. This is another great review.
