In the first episode, Baki has gathered all of his former opponents, his “friends,” to see him fight Yujiro. In the following episode, “Lullaby,” is the moment everyone’s been waiting for. “Lullaby” is the best episode of the series thus far. It’s hard to not spoil what happens because there are subsequent volumes of [I]Baki The Grappler[/I].

The next episode, “Reflections,” is basically a recap episode about how far Baki has become as a fighter since episode 1. The final episode is about Baki’s new journey and further growth, and his 2 year journey to become the greatest fighter ever. Now Baki’s a bit older, and sports a new look, as more observant people may have spotted from the opening credits.

I am really into the show now, and this is the Baki Hanma I remember from the Baki movie. There’s even a visual reference to the way Baki would drink carbonated beverages in the original movie. I’m ready for Baki to fight people around the world, but I hope it doesn’t take too long.

The usual. “Mr Stain on Junk Alley” is a new addition to the extras. “Mr. Stain is only good to watch if you’re really, really bored.
