Cons:Wireless quit after 1day. Requires continious rebooting for wired ports after 1week. no Customerservice
The Bottom Line: doesnt work. no support.
Because I am the official declarer in my household, I officially declare this router a POS. I bought it to replace a working but somewhat slow Linksys "G" router so that we would have faster streaming. After installing the router and downloading the latest firmware and following the not too difficult directions, I was able to hook up and connect 3 hardwired and two wireless devices......for one day. On day two the wireless stopped working.. would not connect to either laptops. Only when placing the laptops within 10 ft of the router did they work. Went through all the gyrations to get them to connect. Nothing worked. Contacted customer nonservice and still nothing. This is where the frustrations start. They act like I'm an idiot. At least the wired connections were still working and seem to be fast enough..........until last night (1 week).....at first I had to reboot the router every few hours.... now though it's every few 15 to 30 minutes. I have down loaded firmware, uninstalled, reinstalled, unpowered, repowered, rebooted (repeated) so many time I can do it in my sleep, so it's back in box and back to the store for this router. I'll use my old "G" Linksys until I can find a good "N" router. Maybe I just bought a bad router, but I dont know. Think I'll go back to a Linksys "G" router.
