Recently the proud new owner of an Apple iPad 2 (16GB) Wi-Fi Tablet and decided that protecting the most vital part of this powerful tool would indeed behoove me.  Knowing that the screen could easily become scratched or damaged by everyday use or simply by having it out got me to thinking about buying a ScreenGuards HD Clear Screen Protector.


What is it?!
Well it is indeed a clear slim polymer cover that goes directly over the tablet screen surface to provide the iPad 2 with a protective, but invisible layer of protection between anything that might encounter or contact the iPad screen.  Since the screen is both a monitor and a interactive touchable surface it also protects the screen from fingerprints, scratches, and liquids from coming in contact with it. 


How it Works?!
Inconclusive I assure you, allusive really... Well since the package is precut to fit the exact screen size of the iPad 2 I simply took the one screen protector included out of the box and cleaned the surface of the iPad then I simply placed it onto the iPad 2 screen. 


Personal Experience
Well for around 10 bucks I felt it was well worth the investment to protect my iPad 2 Tablet screen from scratches, scuffs, or liquids.  Since I use it on the go it sometimes rubs against a surface that could easily leave behind a nasty scratch, which overtime would reduce the visibility of the tablet.  The product was straightforward, easily to use, and most importantly protected my investment as designed.  Since the ScreenGuards is Anti-glare both natural and artificial light did not cause glares or an inability to view the screen.  Furthermore the HD quality gives the overall appearance almost better than without it, as the images are crisp and clear.  I would say the one downfall I've experienced is "reduced sensitivity," which took a while to get use to in some cases where I had to do an action a few extra times, but now I've gotten the hang of it.  I can easily recommend the ScreenGuards to consumers looking to protect their iPad and give the screen some extra sharpness to images along with fewer glares from all lighting.
