Pros: Does everything

Cons: Not as good as later models

The TI-86 is a good calculator, and for the price, it can't be beat. It of course does all of the tasks needed for basic math, and also various others. Most importantly for me, it was very qualified to help me with calculus calculations. In this area, it is much easier to use and also performs more functions than any of the previous models. In addition, it is probably the easiest of any in its series to use. Also, it is an excellent calculator for graphing functions and using these to solve problems. It was an enormous help to me in my calculus class and would be to anyone who takes a small bit of their time to learn how to use it.
