My daughter decided she wanted a multi-function printer the weekend before Christmas. I went to Office Max to check out what they had. Since I have an HP Office Jet I was looking for its upgrade in color scanning. After looking at all the printers, pricing them, etc. I decided to check out the Internet auctions and purchased a Canon 5500 for much less than at the retail stores. My daughter is interested in the T-shirt maker so this software and related supplies will be the next purchase. Installation of the Canon 5500 went well except for setting up the fax function. There was also supposed to be an extra black cartridge included which was not. Hopefully the Internet auction site will make good on this. The quality of the print and other functions is excellent.
