Pros: good resolution, relatively fast.excellent photo printing. a work horse.

Cons: won't accommodate legal paper

I purchased this all in one printer in 1999 and to date have had no problems with it. I use it daily for both personal and business.
It has a great help index and is the best all around printer I have ever seen.
I am now considering a new HP simply because the new ones will accommodate legal paper and have automatic feeders.
I don't know if you can still buy the 1170CSE, but if you can I highly recommend it.
When I bought this printer I was running windows 98, then upgraded to ME, and now have XP. The HP worked well with all systems.
