When it comes to workouts, some type of protein intake is a must. Protein feeds, builds and allows the muscles to recover during and after a workout. Some people like to get their protein from foods like eggs and other food sources, and I use these, too. On days I workout, some sort of protein is a must, especially after the workout for recovery.

I enjoy their 100% Whey Protein Gold Standard as a post workout drink. Since I'm a bit of a chocolate freak, the double rich chocolate supplies the delicious chocolatey taste that I crave.
It breaks down easily and can be spoon stirred, blended and shaken. It can also be added to a variety of foods like yogurt and oatmeal and a variety of others. In a shaker, which is what I use, It says to use one scoop to 6-8 oz. of water or your favorite beverage. I usually do one scoop in 5 oz of water to give it an even thicker flavor.
It suggests ways to make more powerful shakes by adding ingredients such as frozen fruits, flaxseed oil, creatine, glutamine, and others to add more punch and power to your drink. A Scoop contains 24 g of Protein, 5.5 g of BCAAs, 4 g of glutamine and precursors. If you mix this with yogurt, it tastes better than the MHP Power Pak Pudding.
It has 120 Calories and 10 of them are from Fat. It has 1 g of Fat and 0.5 g from Saturated Fat but no Trans Fat. It has 30 mg of Cholesterol and 130 mg of Sodium. It has 3 g of Carbs of which 1 g is from Sugars. No Vitamin A or C. It has 8% Calcium and 2% Iron.
If you are allergic, the product does contain milk and soy ingredients. It's sweeteners are sucralose or acesulfame-k. It's protein sources are whey isolate, whey concentrate and whey peptides. This whey protein product is easily absorbed.
