Pros: Very professional, personalized service
Cons: Very slightly more expensive than other dive operations
The Bottom Line: Very professional, safe operation. Highly personalized service. Lots of bottom time with the use of computers and a long surface interval on the beach.

We were planning a cruise with a stop in Cozumel with another couple who are divers. I wasn't sure that booking the dives through the ship would give us the smaller groups we were looking for. I actually based my choice to dive with Aldora from an "epinion" posted to this site, their own web site, and the professional way in which we got e-mail correspondence back from my inquiries.
Since we only had one day to dive, I wanted to make sure we had the best possible time. We are all intermediate divers. The arrangements were great. We met Aldora at their pier at 9am local time (note: the ship was on East Coast time, Cozumel was on Central time, so it was like meeting them at 10am). Gear with our name on it was already at the pier and they were right on time. We arranged a boat for just the 4 of us-we had a nice, fast boat, a great DiveMaster and a driver. It was extremely personal and friendly. The dives were chosen to suit what we were looking for. We utilized their dive computers (no rental fee) and had a great one hour guided dive, about a two hour surface interval at a very nice beach club (lunch available), then a second one hour dive. We were back to the ship at 4:30 (3:30 local time). The price was $10 more per person than it would have been if we had booked the dives on the ship, with undoubtedly a lot more divers of various levels of experience.
I really enjoyed the diving in Cozumel (with only Grand Cayman to compare it to). If we are able to return there as a dive destination, I would definitely use Aldora again.
