Great fishing in Lake Ontario NY

I live in upstate NY near Lake Ontario and have only been fishing that lake this season but I have had tremendous luck. We have been reeling them in one right after the other.

They have been biting on just about anything recently from lures to minnows. I would definately recommend taking atleast two dozen minnows with you if you go out because the number of hits and lose of the minnows. I have been really lucky and have caught the largest fish on one lure that I have. It is just a silver spoon with a piece of reflective type tape on it.

I have also had luck catching them in the Sodus Bay. If you have time and a good sturdy boat (waves are high at times)I recommend going to that lake and giving it a try.
