The Otterbox Motorola Droid X Defender Case is made of quality construction.  It is a two part protection system that comes with a hard PVC case that snaps on to the cell phone.  The otter part of the the Otterbox is a silicone sleeve that goes over the hardcase to give the phone extra protection and provides shock absorbing protection if the phone is dropped.

In addition to the two part protection system, the Otterbox also has a built in screen protection that protects your cell phone's screen from any scratches.

The case also does not interfere with any functions and you can use your phone without taking off the case or any part of the case.  The Otterbox Motorola Droid X Defender Case comes with a handy belt clip also for clipping to your belt for convenience.

My Thoughts on the Otterbox Motorola Droid X Defender Case

My husband has been through numerous cell phone cases with this phone and the iphone he had previously.  So far, the Otterbox Motorola Droid X Defender Case has proven to be the best constructed cell phone case that also provides the best protection. 

I am impressed with the quality of the construction of this case.  I was hesitant at first to shell out $50 for a cell phone case.  I did find a great deal at Amazon for around half the price and paired with a gift certificate, this purchase became a golden opportunity.

Pros:

This case does not interfere with any of the functions of the phone.  You can talk, surf the web, watch videos or whatever with the case intact. 

Quality construction.

Best protection--you can turn the phone upside down and place it on the counter and the screen doesn't touch the surface because of the design of the case.

Shock absorbing sleeve that goes on top of hard plastic case.

Cons:

You have to take the case off to replace the battery if you are one to have a back-up battery ready to pop in instead of recharging phone.

Overall

I highly recommend the Otterbox Motorola Droid X Defender Case.  It is made of quality materials.  Clip is durable and has survived so far where others break right off the bat.
