Pros: Similar to 3C. Brighter screen, great detail. Blue-tooth is handy.
Cons: Unreliable. A problem with the touch screen technology. I'm quite disappointed in them.
The Bottom Line: I've only owned the two PDA's, the 3C (excellent) and the Tungsten. I'd recommend something else, but I don't ANY knowledge of other products.

I'm somewhat grateful to the sales at Best Buy clerk who strongly suggested the extended warranty. In fairness, Best has been very tolerant of me, every time I return, grumbling about the latest problem with my Tungsten. I shouldn't blame them for my problems with this thing, but if they know it is this bad, why do they sell them?
Most of the returns have been related to the tracking on the touch-screen. I put the stylus down in one spot, usually the upper right corner, and the pointer shoots off to the left. I think they've seen the problems before because they just send me back to get another.
When it works, it's great. The date book function is valuable and intuitive to use. It's easy to sync with my laptop, which is a bonus, since it is constantly being replaced.
I've taken it back 8 times so far in less than a year, once for going blank, refusing a charge and, well.. being a super-lightweight boat anchor. The other 7 times were for touch screen tracking problems.
Each time Best has given me a new Tungsten, right out of the box. Each time it's worked perfectly... for a while.
My current Tungsten holds the record, I've had it a couple months now; the touch screen is just now starting to act up a little, but I can put up with it. I just don't like it when I touch somewhere in the corner and the tracking line shows up halfway across the screen. I wish I were exaggerating.
