Peggy, it must have been fun as a 7 year old. There are lots of places in the country I've never heard of but the Sedona area just went totally by me until this summer. Glad we didn't let it go by! jo

I still remember this place and tell people about it from a family trip we did to the SW in 1969 (I was 7). Is that wild or what?

I haven't had a chance to review Sedona - I mostly just traveled through on my way up to Flagstaff (a friend had told me that I had to take the route through Sedona from Phoenix to Flagstaff instead of just the highway).
As we were driving through, my partner and I just wished we had more time to enjoy the area. We're planning on heading out just to that area in the near future - to get a chance to explore a bit more.

Jeff I will have to see if you've reviewed Sedona. It is on my list next - travel just takes me so long. In 5 minutes after getting there we changed our plans to stay for over a week rather than 3 days; I started crying it was so beautiful and I wanted to move there. If the red clay hadn't gotten to my allergies- I don't know I may never have left. I should do an express review! jo

I was in the Sedona area I went by this park and thought it looked interesting - now I know that I want to stop next time I'm out there.
