We went to Yosemite National Park for our Honeymoon in 1960. At that time the park was fantastic. Camp Curry and the Lodge were both outstanding. Food at the Lodge was some of the best we ever ate. At night the Fire Falls were nothing short of unbelievable. This was a very romantic place to visit. The trails were well marked and very uncrowded. The floor of the valley was filled with deer and other wildlife. Wild flowers bloomed everywhere you looked. They even had a Fish Nursery to visit. Today, Yosemite National Park is not a place that I would recommend. Too many people trying to get to too few spots that are still open. While the park is there for everyone, a lot of bums and gang members hang out there in the summer. The Park Rangers can not handle the huge crowds of tourists and campers. The park is a mess, the bears are very aggressive and the cost to visit keeps going up. Who needs to go to any National Park that is more trouble than it's worth. Go somewhere else for your vacation or visit.
