There is now a $5 admission(/parking?) charge. Irritatingly, in that admission to a US National Park is supposed to be good at any and all national parks visited in the next 7 days, the Volcanoes National Park receipt is NOT honored at Pu'uhonua.

...we visited this park a few years ago and although we found it interesting in many ways, it didn't earn the 'must do' ranking.
