Paris Landing State Park is a 841-acre Resort Park located on the Kentucky Lake in northern Tennessee. Kentucky Lake is one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, and it is located in northwestern Tennessee.
With the Park being located on the shores on the Kentucky Lake it offers a full-service marina. The marinia is rated one of the most modern marinas in the state. The Marina offers 285 wet boat rental slips, public boat ramp and a marina store for fuel and fishing license.
The Park also offers a Inn which features 130 rooms with private balconies looking over the Kentucky Lake. The Inn offers a public restraunt the seats 135 people. The restraunt is the best place to eat in the area, they always have catfish on the menu. The Inn also features a private pool for guest and tennis courts. If you would like a little more privacy or more space for a family they also have 10 cabins on property for rent and 80 campsites.
Additional activites the park offers is an 18-hole golf course with a pro shop. They offer a olympic size pool, amphitheater, picknicking areas, shuffleboard, volleyball, softball, badminton and so much more...like hiking, biking and fishing.
Some near by place to visit form the park would be Paris, TN; The Land Between the Lakes Recreational Area and area antique stores.
The Park and Inn are wonderful for an inexpensive weekend. Paris Landing State Park has a lot to offer someone wanting to get back to nature and to get out of the big city. With that you have to remember that you are not staying at the Plaza Hotel but in the middle of a State Park!
