Balmorhea State Park, A Oasis in the West Texas Mountains, the main attraction is the Spring Fed Pool, changing out a Million Gallons of Fresh Water an hour. A brisk 72 water temp is a nice break from the hot West Texas Summers. The park along with the Pool, has a very nice set of Cabins right along the Spring that feeds the Pool and Camping spots for RV's & Pop-Up's, does'nt look to great for the Tent Camper though. The Pool draws the locals Kids and the Tourist each day, many people scuba dive in the pool, Catfish and other fish are in the pool, 2 diving boards at the pool, one about 7 feet in the air. Sit around the Pool, looks at the Mountains In the Distance and Enjoy Life!! 30 Miles from Davis Mountains State Park.
