My daughter wanted a Tangled themed birthday party this year, and at the last minute, we decided to do a pinata for the party.  I had already prepared the party favors in my own favor bags, but we ended up buying these Rapunzel Goody Bags solely for the pinata candy.

I purchased these from Walmart for about $2.00 (for a pack of 8).  I had seen some other Rapunzel party items at Party City and Toys R Us, but Walmart was clearly the cheapest and carried the best selection.

I never buy these kinds of goody bags for our birthday parties, since I generally have stuff that is too big to fit in them.  I figured though, for the purpose of little kids collecting a few handfuls of candy, these would suffice.

Like many of our other party items, these goody bags came as a pack of 8, packaged in a sealed clear plastic bag.  The fronts of the bags have the image of Rapunzel, and the backs and insides are white.  The design is very cute and fits in with all of our other Tangled theme items.  The front of the bag has a picture of Rapunzel smiling and holding on to her long hair, and there is a small picture of her tower in the background, and tehn some colorful painted accents throughout (reminiscent of Rapunzel's murals).

These bags are very simple, and are completely flat rectangles when they aren't filled.  They are basically just two rectangles joined together.  In other words, they don't expand, they aren't designed to sit up on their own or hold any kind of shape, which is another reason I never use them for regular goody bags.

There is a little cutout through the bags to provide a handle to hold the bag.  Since the kids were only using these for collecting their candy before heading home, I didn't do anything with the bags, but if I were actually using them as favor bags, I might tie the top shut with some curling ribbon. 

Overall, these seem about average for this kind of goody bag.   The design is cute and they were fairly cheap, so I didn't mind spending a couple dollars extra to have something cute for the kids to collect their candy with.
