This sleek looking and nicely coated board is a large step above the smaller game packs' supplied "fold out" paper boards.  With the paper boards you fold and re-fold multple times in use where durability will inevitably burn you without a more permanent replacement. This board fits that need nicely.

While I do detest that the board is two separate halves, it is a far cry better than having to iron out a folded piece of paper where your cards slide and having it wear out from a few uses. My issue with the halves is when you move a card from your territory to the opponent's territory, your board halves can slide apart and disrupt position of your game cards in play forcing a stop and straighten delay.

The coating on the board helps it wear quite well for extended use. It will resist staining, and allows for smooth card sliding without undue wear and tear on the cards. It folds up nicely and should be easily stored. This board comes supplied with the "Master Set" of Summoner Wars, so if you plan to purchase the Master Set, purchase of this would be redundant but any smaller expansions would benefit from this add-on.
