The Bottom Line: I would recommend this Bluetooth for anyone looking for a nice looking, comfortable headset.
My old Plantronics Bluetooth headset was getting a bit long in the tooth and required immediate replacement. So I looked at the options available at Best Buy ranging in cost from about $30 to $150. The pricier headsets seemed to have way too many bells and whistles. The cheap ones just seemed cheap. This Plantronics Savor M1100 seemed to fit my needs pretty well and looks great. Having used Plantronics products before, I've been very pleased with their overall quality.
This Bluetooth is very light and comfortable. It comes with three different size gel eartips, s., m., and large. There is also a clear plastic ear loop to hold the device over the ear. It can be worn on the left or right ear.
The sound quality is very clear and the range is over 30 feet.
When you turn the unit on, there is a soft voice which says "bluetooth connected" and then gives the battery talk time. There are also other voice status alerts such as power off and low battery talk time.
It was very easy to pair with my phone.
Unfortunately, the outside of package does not give much information about the headset. It displays the headset on a very nicely designed stand, but you really don't know about the features from the packaging description.
The controls on the headset seem like they might be a bit difficult to find while driving, especially the volume button, which is on the side of the headset. So if you go to squeeze the volume button, it is a little easy to accidentally tap the call button and hang up a call.
I haven't used it long enough to see if the power switch is also in an awkward spot, which might cause the user to accidentally power off the unit.
I don't really use voice commands, so I don't know how well those would function, but sound reception seems very clear.
It also came with the charger and a nice small storage bag.
