An excellent processor

I just recently bought one of the newest Athlons (codenamed Thunderbird) for about 100$. It was 700mhz. I have to say, this processor is very very very very good. It is about 3.5x faster than my old AMD k6-2 350. The benchmarks which have been made on this processor are also very good. The actual design is in a Slot format, so that there is more surface area that you can cool.
Speaking of cooling, this thing runs VERY hot, so you will need a large heatsink for this. Once you have one, there will be no problems with it.
Overall, a good buy. Pick up one today!
