I was surprised to have actually enjoyed a black currant iced tea that was served with my meal at the Border Grill in Santa Monica, CA.
Skip a few streets over and hit one of the Brit import shops up for a bottle of 'Ribena.' All good blackcurrant tea, iced or no, should be laced with this, a blackcurrant concentrate I'm completely unable to describe objectively. I have seen blackcurrantheads put it in their beer. (Mixes okay with darker, more bitter brews, though hardly an everyday or even sane taste)
