I've always loved playing around with webpages, it really lets your creativity flow ..I don't claim to be an expert in web design by any means, I've learned everything I know basically from doing - its amazing the things you can learn on your own with the time and motivation.
I decided to give Dreamweaver a try since I've always heard such great things about it.
The very first day I began using Dreamweaver, I found most of the features easy to learn and apply. I was able to achieve results on webpages that I was extremely impressed with! Everything from simple html to java, are a breeze for complete idiots like myself..hehe It basically does the hard stuff for you, letting you worry about how you want to set the page up, instead of worrying how to write scripts.
I think my favorite option is creating templates with static portions of the page, ..something i've never quite figured out how to make myself, ..well now this program will whip it all up for me. I recently began playing around with Macromedia Flash also, which is completely compatible with Dreamweaver. Flash allows you to integrate some really fancy presentations and graphic shows into Dreamweaver for that special final touch. I'm not going to go into the vast amount of features on Dreamweaver, but I will most likely come back to update this review after I have used this program inside and out.
Everytime I go to open this program I have more ideas on things I could try, this program is only limited by your creativity, and has more then enough features to grow with you. Some of the features *and the menu's as well..which are setup kinda funky* might confuse you at first, but with motivation anyone can have great results with this software. Theres no doubt why this is one of the most popular html authoring programs out..I would highly recommend this software to everyone! And get Flash too!! :)
