Pros: power (yes power!)
Cons: size, price
The Bottom Line: Powerful, reliable, and amazing sounding amplifier. Seems to be under guaged in the watt relm. a 70 watt amplifier with a 16 inch power supply and a 24 inch amplifier?

| bossman52's Full Review: Adcom GFA 4702 Car Amp |
Combined with a pair of Cadence Bass Pro 1000's (1000 watts apiece), this amp will have every inch of glass flexing within your automobile...might want to replace it with plexi glass. I purchased mine for $700.00 used 5 years ago and I have no regrets with this amplifier.
I've heard through the grape vine that this amplifier has 2500 watts by theory...and scratched my head in disbelief as I glimpsed back and forth from the 16 inch long power supply and 24 inch long amplifier to the numerous search engine results up saying that it was 70watts x 2. I downloaded the manual from Adcom
http://www.adcom.com/main/gfa4302_4402_4304_4404_4702manual.pdf
and it mentioned that it was 250 watts at 4 ohms mono...still I know this thing could easily power much more than the two 15" Cadences that I had in the back of my 1990 Nissan 300zx. I had to turn the settings down on the amplifier in fact. The only audible distortion came from the speakers, which claimed to be able to handle 1000 watts.
