| tinasamuels's Full Review: Adobe Photoshop Elements Upgrade Version Governmen... |
Bright and colorful, Easy and informative, Adobe Photoshop Elements has features worthy of the $99 pricetag. You use this much like the MGI Photosuite in that it has red-eye reduction with brush work. All you will need to do is wipe the "brush" over the redeye and it will click and be corrected.
Photoshop Elements is used to correct your scanned and online photos. You can just use your mouse to correct a host of problems, from redeye, to color correction, to editing. For most applications this is all you will need. As it is cheaper than other Photoshops, and has some tools that the others do not have. These tools aid in learning how to do color correction.
This replaces the Photoshop LE which did not have the full versions of most of the better features. Plus LE didn't have the tutorial guides that help you learn like Elements does.
HOWEVER Photoshop Elements does not have the multilevel undo like LE did. That allowed you to do many undo and redo steps. It cannot work in the four color mode, lacks in curves, color channels, and masking. For most users it will have all the image-editing that you will need.
For $99 I recommend it as a really good image editor for most people. IF you need the masking and the curves, stay with the more expensive versions of the Adobe Photoshop, like LE.
