Sure beats paying $600!

Pros:Very user friendly, menus, recipes, toolbar is easy to use.
Cons:limited in some ways, filters are not always customizable.
The Bottom Line: If you want a high quality program that has the best of Adobe Photoshop, yet reasonably priced, this program is for you.
I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements after downloading the trial. I was definitely impressed with the way the program has a lot of the benefits of Adobe Photoshop, minus the price! We whole proof of the worth of this program is the ease of use and the quality of the print-outs. Many times in other graphic design programs, it may be fun to use, but when it comes time to print out the finished product, the results aren't that great. Not so with this program. The results are wonderful. The colors are true to what you see on the monitor. I really like the menus that are part of the program, they help with choosing various effects and filters. It is a joy to use, and I highly recommend it!
