Pros: Silent, no replacement filters, energy efficient, easy and cheap to maintain, and it works.
Cons: Way overpriced but can be bought for under $200. I still have to dust!
The Bottom Line: What a bargain for under $200... this is the one to buy!

| matthew10-34's Full Review: Sharper Image Ionic Breeze GP SI730 Air Purifier |
I bought 2 of these on-line refurbished 4 months ago for about $175 each including shipping. I was surprised to receive 2 units that were completely indistinguishable from new. This truly has been a "best buy" for me. I sure am glad I didn't settle and buy the "Quadra" model.
Each work flawlessly and are very easy to maintain. Every weekend I pull the collection grid out of one and while holding it horizontally over the sink I wipe it down with a small damp sponge (after squeezing the water out) and then again with a paper towel. I've found this works best to expedite cleaning and drying time. Then I lay the grid down to dry while I clean the other one. Next I put the grid pack in the first one, pick it up the whole unit and turn it end for end 3 or 4 times, set it down, turn it on, and then do the same with the other one. Just make sure the grid is dry before putting it back in. It only takes me about 4 minutes each week to maintain both, 2 minutes each.
When I first turned these on I didn't know how long they would go before needing to be cleaned. Then after about 10 days one of them started making a "sound". Of course this was the sound it makes when it needs to be cleaned so after I did it went back to being silent again.
I recommend the Sharper Image SI730 Ionic Breeze GP Air Purifier w/ UV Light unit for under $200.
