| melason's Full Review: Aiwa CDC-X504MP Car CD/ MP3 Player |
On the surface this seems like a great player/tuner: it looks nice, plays MP3s, has auxiliary (AUX) input in front, low price, etc. (The salesman said it has a Sony CD unit, but I never checked if that is true.) I never used it that much as I drive less than 10,000 miles a year, even then mostly used the radio. The CDs are always in a case and clean (no dirt, streaks etc). The Aiwa had a few minor problems within a year after I bought it (shop installed it) - buttons didn't work once in awhile. Now at about two years the CD player quit working, and sometimes the buttons or volume control do not work, maybe once every two dozen times. I highly do NOT recommend an Aiwa based on this poor experience. Warranty is one year.
