I can't recommend the PS2 version. I haven't played it. I reviewed the PC game version. I'd like to think the Playstation version could be good, but usually games written first on the computer, and then ported to console, tend to stink. And I can't imagine the controls could be done right at all on one of those standard PS2 controllers.
If anyone reading this wants to compare the two for me, go ahead.

I've heard so many raves about this game that I'm afraid it may just supplant Tomb Raider as my favorite game...I loved the Alien Trilogy Playstation and one web site expert mentioned that once he played Alien/Predator it became his favorite. It's reason enough for me to get the PS2.

This is a tremendous concept, that i was excited to hear about it when it came out. I never played it much (due to laziness) and because it didn't catch on, and because i was told it was very difficult, so I satisfied myself on Starcraft's rendition of Aliens vs Predator.
nice review as always. you capture the feel of the game very well. I am thrilled just by reading it.
