| ddcyr40's Full Review: Alpine CDA-9830 Car CD/ MP3 Player |
This head unit I bought from Crutchfield because it was on sale $80 off, I'm assuming because of an older model. I've had it for almost a year now in my Passat and it has served me very well. It is definately complicated to try to do anything in the EQ other than put on preset EQ's. I really like how you can just push the sound button in and you can do directly to the subwoofer level. The radio reception could be better, but sound quality is great and it goes up to 30 on the volume and 10 is plenty loud. Its iffy on WMA files, never know when they will work and takes a while to load mp3 discs, but overall good deck and definately will still buy from alpine.
