Ok TV, terrible customer service, won't honor their own warranty

I bought this TV about 2 years ago, when my old one was going bad. I bought this one, because I bought one at Wal-mart a few years back and was satisfied with it. I bought the last one they had at ShopKo so I got a discount on it and I bought ShopKo's extended warranty. Well I tried it after a while, and found the side A/V didn't work. Well I put off getting it fixed for a while, and about two months before their warranty was to expire, I decided to try to get it fixed. So I call them up, to see if I can get it fixed, and they flat out told me, NO. They said, "since it is an old model (despite me buying it brand new). they wouldn't honor their warranty. What a bunch of crap. Luckly I bought the extended warranty, so I was able to get all of my money back. So basically, don't by APEX, because their forigen call center will give you the run around, and will be very rude to you. I will never buy from them, as they can never be trusted. The TV is good, but the company is just bad.
