I purchased this television on the morning after Thanksgiving. I was able to purchase it for a very good price .. $699. Seemed like a great deal, and made it worthwhile getting up at 4:00am to get it. The picture was OK, but it seemed to have some intermittent problems such as the volume moving up on its own, or changing channels on its own. Annoying problems, but infrequent enough to ignore. Then 6 months after purchase, it just stopped working. It was under warranty, and was picked up for repair. That was in June...its now December, and still no television. It has been to two Apex authorized repair facilities, and neither can get it repaired because the parts come from China, and they are 6 months behind in shipping them. I have made many phone calls to Apex, with zero support. Needless to say, wish I bought something else like a Sony. Lots more money, but you would never have to wait over 6 months just to repair it!! Definately one of the worst purchases I have ever made, the wife still has not forgiven me for it! Hopefully I'll get it back before the 1 year mark!
