Malfunctioning after less than 1 Month

Pros: Crisp, clean picture, good sound, low price, easy to use.

Cons: The DVD player has started malfunctioning after less than 1 month and approximately 5 uses.

I bought this the Apex TV/DVD combo in mid-September. At first, I absolutely loved it!! It does have a crisp picture and excellent sound. However, after using the DVD player all of about 5 times, it has started making a grinding sound during playback...the sound is too loud to enjoy the movie. I now have tried about 30 different DVDs to make sure it was not just the one DVD that was the problem...and the loud grinding occurs with all DVDs. So...while the TV is excellent, I can't use the DVD player at all. I am taking it back today!
